Good morning Ellen, I wanted to give you a little feedback on my family's caboose train ride this past Saturday. As you recall, this was what we wanted to do as a family for our Christmas gift to each other. It also gave us the opportunity to spend our money in Arizona and help the local community.
We had an absolutely terrific time. It lived up to everyone's expectations. We were treated like royalty the entire time. From the very friendly ladies at the ticket counter, to Dennis our driver out to the caboose, Santa, Mrs. Claus, the Elves and especially Fermin our wonderful personal attendant; they all made us feel special and took great care to see that we had a fantastic time. Please thank them all for us again.
In addition, I want to express my personal thanks to everyone for the way they looked after our two grandsons. Santa and his group spent much more time than expected and made them feel very special.
In total we took over 300 pictures and we particularly liked Fermin's assistance in taking some pictures as a group at the back of the caboose.
Thanks again from all of us and I suspect that you will be hearing from us again in the future.

If I were Queen of Arizona…I’d encourage everyone to take a ride on the Verde Canyon Railroad out of Clarkdale. It offers one of the most beautiful views of Arizona you’ll ever see. Take a picnic or splurge for first-class cars with appetizers and drinks. However you go, this four-hour train ride takes you through a piece of “natural Arizona” that will take your breath away. Besides, the crew is a delight and will help make your trip extra special.

Hello to everyone at the Verde Canyon Railroad. Just a message to say how very much enjoyed our visit to the railroad on Monday 13th October. The trip on the train is something that none of us will ever forget. During our 2 week stay in Sedona; our day out with yourselves was the highlight of the vacation. It wasway outin front of the Helicopter journey over the Grand Canyon. Your whole set-up is first rate and we had some laughs with many of your staff especially the lovely lady originally from Vermont.4 hoursappeared on the face of itto be a long time on a preserved railway, but in fact itwas over in minutes.
Please pass on our thanks to Bryce Babcock for making our journey very interesting, being very informativeand yes, we had to laugh at some of his jokes! The journey is breathtaking and to see eagles flying in the wild is something else. I hope you go from strength to strength and we will, god willing, visit again if we are passing.
On Thursday night we went to the Blazin' 'M' Ranch…another excellent night's entertainment and plenty of good food. Try though I may, I just couldn't lasso the metal steer! We had excellent seats, right at the front and we once again were made most welcome.

On behalf of my wife and I and our best friends Gord & Donna Johnson we would like to thank you for your hospitality and the train ride of a lifetime on November 7, 2008. We reside near Toronto Ontario Canada and we had been planning our trip to Scottsdale and surrounding area since early this year. We drove to Clarkdale on Tuesday to purchase our tickets knowing that the train did not operate that day. We were met at your ticket counter by 2 wonderfull people and chose the first class tickets. On Friday Nov. 7th we drove to the station for our trip. When it came time for boarding we were all in awe of the seating in our coach the Flagstaff. Unlike a normal coach it was like relaxing in your own living room. The young lady in charge of the coach Kenna was one of the hits of the trip. She made everyone very welcome and went out of her way to help everyone. I have pictures of the journey from beginning to end as well as some video. We have told our friends here in Canada of the trip and how breathtaking the scenery was. These people bragged to us in the past of their trips to Florida but this outclasses their trips handsdown. Again Thank you for making our holiday such a pleasureable one.
